OPPS.....WHAT YOU MISSED!

I Love To See The Temple..

Today we went to the Temple as a family for the Dedication! It was cool to actually be in the temple! We were seated in the large sealing room, which is huge, (it seats 75, but can seat 100 if you bring in benches) There are 5 sealing rooms in the Draper Temple, but this room is one of the two largest sealing rooms in the church. It is also soooo beautiful! As we sat in the sealing room together Shane realized that the next time that we will all be in a sealing room together is when the last of the girls get married....that seems so far away, and yet it seems like yesterday that they were all little girls! Time does fly!

A Great Week!

So it was a busy week for the London's. Nicole turned 19 on the 19th and she thought she should recieve 19 presents... so 19 presents is what she recieved (mostly from the dollar store)! It was fun to see her open them and see her expression on her face. She loved every present and the funny thing is that she will use them all, she is just a little kid trapped in a young adult body! She really did get a real present from us, some cash for clothes and such!

Draper LDS Temple

We have been excited since the announcement of a new Temple in Draper, Ut. Especially since we live in the new temple's boundaries. We have had so many incredible experiences being able to serve there during the open house. Shane and I were able to serve as a Host and Hostess twice and also as Ushers. Nicole and Megan were also Ushers and Abbie had the opportunity to go in and clean the temple. In December Megan was asked to perform in a Youth Choir for the Cornerstone Ceremony. The Choir was comprised of 6-8 youth from each Stake in the Temple District (there are 24-27 Stakes in our temple district.) So Friday, the 20th we were up bright and early, before the sun, so we could get a good view of the Choir and the cornerstone ceremony. We waited outside for over and hour and a half, but it was worth the wait! The Choir sounded beautiful and the Cornerstone Ceremony was awesome. President Monson was so cute and generous asking people to come and set the mortar. Check out the next slideshow......
